VRBO QR codes.
They have the whole house, and nobody to ask.
QR codes for your VRBO rental: the WiFi, the manual, the hot tub rules and the check-out steps. One set of signs that works whichever channel the booking came through, so the same codes cover an Airbnb or Booking.com listing of the same property.
Most VRBO hosts are not only VRBO hosts
If the same property is listed in more than one place, the signage should not know which. A sign naming a channel is a sign you reprint the day you add another one, or the day a guest books direct. Name the code after the job it does and the destination carries everything else.
One property. One set of codes. Any channel. What earns a code in a whole-home rental
Beyond the WiFi and the manual, which every property needs. These are the ones that actually cut the messages.
The appliance nobody can work out
The induction hob, the wood burner, the coffee machine with two buttons and four behaviours. A small code stuck to the appliance itself, opening a photo or a short page, saves the message you would otherwise get at nine at night.
Hot tub, pool and anything with rules
Put it where the equipment is rather than in a manual nobody opens. If the rules change with the season, a dynamic code means you change the page, not the sign.
Parking and access
Whole-home guests usually arrive by car, often late, often after a long drive. Access instructions behind a code on the listing confirmation and by the door is the single most-scanned thing in most properties.
Check-out, by the door
What to strip, where the bins go, what to leave on. A code by the exit gets read at the moment it is actionable, which is not the moment they arrived.
The WiFi code is the one exception
Every other code on this page can be repointed after printing. A WiFi code cannot, because it carries the network name and password in the pattern itself, which is exactly why a guest joins with no signal and no app. No provider can offer otherwise, us included.

Print it once.
Codes never expire, and the house changes more often than the sign needs to.
